What is FuzzyBalance?
It is a gameplay mod aiming to bring the gameplay philosophy of classic Doom into Serious Sam 3. This means movement geared towards positioning, the basic weapons being useful while powerful weapons trading something for more power, and tweaked enemy stats.

So what is changed?
  • Enemy thinking and speed multiplier is buffed in hard difficulty and slightly nerfed in serious.
  • Ammo is doubled in Serious Difficulty
  • Player movement speed is significantly increased, with the sprint multiplier lowered to only give a slight boost.
  • Kamikazes are faster, have 49 health and explode for 85 damage over a radius of 7.8 metres.
  • Gnaars have 60-67% more health
  • Scrapjack's health is reduced to 600
  • Sledgehammer has more range and power.
  • Mutilator ray DPS, cooldown speed and overheat time greatly increased.
  • Pistol fire rate decreased to 175 RPM, autofire, and damage doubled, reload is removed.
  • Shotgun fire rate increased to 56.76 RPM, damage increased to 108, magazine size to 12 and reload time to 2s. Spread is narrower and in a
  • Double Shotgun fire rate increased to 37.5 RPM and damage increased to 216, spread is wider and more randomized.
  • Rifle fire rate increased to 700 RPM, damage increased to 13, mag size increased to 60 and reload time to 2s. Spread is narrower.
  • Minigun fire rate decreased to 525 RPM, damage increased to 24, accuracy is greatly reduced, losing effectiveness at longer ranges. Spinup time is removed.
  • Rocket Launcher fire rate is increased to 105 RPM, damage increased to 218 (90 Impact, 128 Splash), radius damage range increased.
  • C4 range damage increased to 512.
  • Lasergun total damage increased to 32. (20 Iimpact, 12 Radius)
  • Devastator fire rate increased to 123.53 RPM, damage slightly increased to 176 (144 Impact, 32 Splash) with penetrator power matching the total damage. Reload time sped up to 1.6s.
  • Sniper damage increased to 960 to compensate for heavier targets having damage resistance to the weapon. Unzoomed accuracy and damage no longer suffers as much. Fire rate slowed down to 37.5 RPM.
  • Cannon damage increased to 356-1568, (100-800 Impact, 256-768 Splash, no self damage.) penetrating power reduced to 50-125 and projectile model changed to BFG Ball. Fire rate at max charge is changed to 26.25 shots/min and is auto-fire.

Credits/Prerequisites
  • This mod is incompatible with the Classic Jump Height mod and any other mods that override the player puppet or global game parametres. Please disable any such mods before using this mod if you want to avoid conflicts.

Updates:
  • v0.97 - Doubled Cannon fire recovery time, effectively reducing the fire rate to 26.25 shots/min, tweaked the Kamikaze stats, they now run a bit slower, but have more health and explode for significantly more damage over a wider area.
  • v0.98 - Revised the Cannon BFG shot so that it no longer has dependencies to other mods. It also looks better now.
