Bladestorm Customization V2

A successor to the original Bladestorm Customization mod.

If you have ever felt frustated with Bladestorm, this mod is for you. Features include:

1. Target enemies moving away from you.
   
2. Bypass Lightning Reflexes and Shadowstep (Sidewinders begone!).
   
3. Allow critical hits.
   
4. Increase attack range.
   
5. Add an aim penalty.
   
6. Compatible with ModConfigMenu.
   
7. Compatible with Long War 2.

The easiest way to configure this mod is installing both this mod and ModConfigMenu and using the in-game menu in Options->Mod Settings->Bladestorm Customization V2. You will find the following options:

Bladestorm attacks are considered reaction attacks by default. Changing this to standard attack, will allows Bladestorm to bypass skills such as Lightning Reflexes and Shadowstep.

Allows Bladestorm attacks to critically hit. Does not provide any crit bonus. Your soldier's regular crit modifier is used. Applies to both reaction and standard attacks.

By default Bladestorm does not target enemies who were in your attack range, but moved out of it. Enabling this setting will allow Bladestorm to override this behaviour.

Allows you to increase the attack range of Bladestorm attacks from the default of 1 tile. Makes Bladestorm horribly overpowered, but is incredibly fun to use.

Base game applied the overwatch penalty of 30% (40% for dashing enemies) to Bladestorm attacks. You can lower or disable this penalty entirely to make sure that Bladestorm no longer misses. Applies to both reaction and standard attacks.

Unfortunately, because I wanted to be able to apply these options without restarting the game, I could not add settings for the movement and attack trigger options present in the original Bladestorm Customization mod. These triggers will always be enabled and cannot be disabled.
