French MG FM 24/29 Chatellerault PROPs

A French machinegun built off the BAR and used during WW2. Extremely rare to find in games, this example is from a Vietnamese game called 7554.

FM 1924 M29

The FM 24/29, or as it is also called, the Chatellerault machine gun, named after it's designer, was designed to replace the infamous Chauchat machine gun. Inspired by the Browning Automatic Rifle, it featured a similar design, albeit with a top mounted magazine and two triggers, the forward one being used for semi-auto fire and the rear one for automatic fire. It was used by Nazi Germany under the designation MG 116(f).
It saw use from it's introduction in 1924 all the way to the 1960s by the French Army, while the Gendarmerie used it well into the new Millenium.
