I don't have much programming knowledge or background right now, but the end goal is proximity burst based flak projectiles, so it'll blow up if it even gets near someone.
not at all. Please be sure to check out the weapon pack versions of these, as these will not continue to be updated with the main pack. I may mark as discontinued or just remove them, but development is continuing with the main pack.
I agree with accuracy and mussle velocity, but not the damage, 55mm eaven my mid to late WWII standards is rather small, you would not fire 55mm shells against a cruiser or battlecrusier during WWII, so why would you fire a 55mm AA gun against large grid ships with armor thats 25000mm thick?
This is an AA gun, it takes down fighters, not carriers.
1) much better shell velocity and on-point accuracy to snipe from the supposed distance
2) more damage to be a threat to big ships (could as well make it a bigger caliber then)
or 3) a serious buff to its RoF and turnrate so you can be a threat to fighters at their effective range
Either way, I'd suggest if you follow 1) or 3) to make the modell a bit smaller to be more fitting. It's weird that it takes the space of your 250mm twin railgun which does better against bigger ships AND against fighters.
