Frontenac Shores

描述
From beneath the forgotten perch of Garnison Frontenac, the Canadian Shield extends into the horizon. Frontenac Shores is a Quebec inspired map, which is dominated by an enormous central lake. This lake is fed by, and pours out along the only river in the map, and features a handful of islands. The numerous surrounding lakes also make "faux-islands" in how the land is distributed.

The map has 44% buildable area around the shores of the central lake, as well as on the islands. It contains three sets of highway connections, three sets train connection, one air route, but no shipping lanes, because after all, you’re inland. It also features ore almost everywhere, a couple of fertile zones, and 162,700 trees, which leaves you with just under 90,000 trees to decorate your city. The map is also optimized for vanilla play, but the screenshots above utilize MrMiyagi’s Alps Dolomites Theme.

Feel free to comment and share, and I'll be FOREVER grateful if you favorite and rate it!

yeah looks like northern Québec (Abitibi, baie james, Côte-Nord) you made an happy Québécois!

I thought about adding a shipping lane, but this was meant to invoke northen Quebec moreso than the Great Lakes region. The outflow creek could definetly be widened tp include one though.

Oh Canada this is awesome. Thanks for this @Gravebriar but inclined to agree with @Zaphod purely because of game play and that thanks to @Lee Towers there are river cargo vessels which I am sure would logically work in this type of region. Still totally worth a like and a fab. Look forward to more.

I feel like a shipping lane would have been appropriate.

After all, the st. lawrence seaway and laker ships are a thing in real life.
