Introduction
I bought this game because it seemed interesting, and it is. Although I didn't had trouble with most races, a few puzzled me.

This guide is to help anyone become good enough to get first in every single race.
Game Mechanics
The game presents you with seasons, each season having 5 events, with a finale event. In order to unlock the finale event, you need to earn certain points during the other 5 events. The game is very forgiving in this regard. Finishing first in one of the events is usually already enough to unlock the season finale. In order to unlock the next season, you then need to become 2nd or first in the finale event.

For winning races, you earn credits. The higher you finish the more credits you can ear. The max is 50 credits if you hit first in that race.

If you reach a lower place, you get less credits. If you then replay that map and become first, you will get the remaining credits, so you always have earned 50 credits for that event if you become first, regardless how many tries it took.

As you earn credits, you are rewarded with new cars. A new car is not necessarily better than what you already have, so look for the statistics that suit you when selecting a race.
Driving
This is an arcade style racing game, meaning that most of the time you will be holding the accellerator and you rarely need to break way before a turn.
The game has a bit of a strange mechanics when it comes to the driving itself. Steering seems to be rather stiff and slow. Its the precise form of steering. The game uses drifting mechanics to take turns. Luckily drifting is very easy.

The game teaches you that in order to drift, stop holding the accellerator key, then turn, then hammer the accellerator key. This basically means that in order to drift more, you tap the accellerator key repeatedly. There is a certain limit to how much you can turn in your drift, and breaking will make drifting a tight corner easier. Some corners require you to learn when to start breaking, if you want to make the corner perfectly, but if you just smash into the walls, you will only loose so much speed that it might still be faster if its just a gentle touch.

Some race modes offer the ability to use a game breaker (power play). In order to be able to use power play, you need to win points, indicated on your hud or on the car, depending on which camera view you use. To win these points, perform some tricks. These tricks include: drafting, drifting and air time. The quickest and easiest way is simply to drift, and given that it is easy to drift, this is the best way to get most points. Drafting is easy especially at the start of the race. Just make sure you drive straight behind someone. You will increase speed this way too. Air time is something that just happens.

Power play can destroy things on the track in an attempt to take out your opponent. Keep note that some power play actions take a bit of time before they become active, which means that you need a bit of timing in order to take out opponents. Too early and the targetted opponent may miss it. Too late, and you may be hitting the obstacle yourself. Do note that there are more cars than the one you targetted, which means it is very likely that if one car misses, another one still hits it.

The other racers will also use powerplay against you, so learn where on the map something can happen and try to be ready in case it happens. Most of the time it can be avoided.

The game allows changing the route in two ways. Either they are shortcuts (indicated by a blue arrow) or they are route changers, (indicated by a red arrow). The biggest difference is, is that a shortcut opens up temporarily allowing access for you. If someone else follows you a bit further behind, they can crash into an obstacle when the shortcut no longer is open. A route change will change the route permanently for everyone. You need to reach the maximum of powerplay points in order to trigger them, and there are only a few locations where you can do this. Changing the route can make the race become easier for you as some hard corners are replaced by easier straights.
Beating different events
There are different events in this game. From straight races, elimination, to time trials (detonator), survival and air strike. I am currently not that far in the game so I'm not entirely sure if there are more game modes.

Most of these game modes are straight forward. Race, Elimination and detonator are simple races. Get to the end as fast as you can and you get first place. The game mechanics make this more interesting than in any other race game though, but thats besides the point.

The Survival and Air Strike modes are a different story, because you need to dodge obstacles and time is not a factor in the run. Because of this, you may have the same problem as I had. Before explaining them in detail, first a note: If you can't beat them now, just skip them and come back to them later. I was unable to beat Airstrike. I tried many things but the best I could do was get 4th place.
Air Strike
The mechanics behind this gamemode is as follows: You drive around the map alone. As you drive, a helicopter flies above you and he will try to kill you. Blue markers appear on the racetrack and move around trying to anticipate where you are going to drive next. At a certain point they lock onto you and turn red. The helicopter starts shooting missles towards the red targets and chances are high that you will drive there. 3 hits and your car explodes.

Next to these missles, if you drive into an obstacle, you will total your car.

You have some control over the process but not much. The further you get in the game, the more missles are being fired making it harder to get away clean.

If you drive slow, the distance between the missles is closer which makes it harder to dodge them. If you break in order to not be hit, the combo is not counted and a message appears "too slow" indicating that you need to pick up the pace if you want to get more points.

If you manage to miss all missles, you will get a perfect wave. Doing a few in a row will seriously increase your score. I got 5 perfect waves in a row which shot me from 4th place directly to 1st.

Strategy
In order to make it easy in this game, you need to go fast. The faster you go, the more space you have between the missles, making it easier to dodge them. You can choose to slow down to make dodging easier, but as you slow down, you need to also increase the speed again in order to make it easier.

The track will have hard and easy sections. As you drive the track more and more, you will recognize the easy sections. You should be focussing all effort in getting the perfect waves in the easy sections, and try blasting as fast as you can through the harder sections. You will likely hit one missle (even if it seemed you missed it) but it should prevent you from being destroyed in them, and you get a small point boost in those sections.

It is not a good strategy to drive slow on purpose in some sections. The faster you go, the easier it becomes, driving slow means there will be a section where you need to increase speed again which can mean you drive too slow for the sections where you actually do need the speed.

The recommended car for this game mode is the "Cobretti Vortex". This car is the first that has 4 speed. Strength is down, but its not important. It is possible there are better cars, but this was the first car that made it easy to play this game mode due to that it goes really fast and has great control while doing so.
Survival
Survival is a bit like Air Strike. You drive through a map, and a series of big trucks drive there as well. They will start tossing barrels at you and elsewhere, and it is your goal to evade them and overtake the trucks. If one of the red barrels hit you, you explode. There are other cars driving with you too. They are only small moving road blocks, nothing more.

One thing you should keep in mind is the following: they will throw blue and red barrels out. The blue barrels won't explode on impact, but another explosion can detonate the blue barrels. Usually you can simply crash into them if you drive at high speed without any concequences.

Strategy
For this game mode, you also need a fast car because it makes it so much easier. I too recommend the "Cobretty Vortex".

There is not much I need to add in terms of strategy, just try to drive fast and anticipate when the red barrels are going to be thrown and where they will land. Also, don't crash into anything including the trucks.
Conclusion
So thats basically it. Just remember, if you can't finish something, try to skip it for now and drive as much as you can earning credits. This allows you to get better cars, and with better cars you likely can win the event when revisitng them.
