SITUATION:
The Republic of Altis is a little state that was established by the United Nations council as a successor of the socialist government which fell in 1996 after a coup d'etat of the military high ranks, who wanted the beginning of a business establishment with the western powers.The current state is full of corruption, military oppression and extrajudicial executions, and the UN, under the influence of the United States (an important ally of the Republic because of its mineral reserves), has ignored the constant aggressions against the worker class and the Altian population.

As a result of this barbaric way of ruling, the marxist communism of the old days increased, and 300 men of the proletariat have risen in arms against the government to take back the control and establish again a communist nation in the island, and the news medias of Europe are calling it the 'Leonidas Rebellion', reminding the battle of Thermopiles between the 300 men of Spartan king Leonidas and the persians of Xerxes.

This conflict has worked as a call to arms for thousands of marxists in the ex-soviet countries (Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, etc...), who are counting now 1,200 fighters travelling to the island with their own equipment and under one name, the Socialist Armed Front of Liberation (SAFL).Meanwhile, the US government has decided to send a little task force composed of USMC soldiers to the island to advise the local armed forces and help them in the fight against the 'Leonidas Rebels'

MISSION:
The SAFL has already a little group of 20 men in the island to link with the local militias and begin the combats against the government forces. The plan of the marxists is to fight the AAF (Altis Armed Forces), who are armed with western weapons and defence systems given by the US and Ukrainian governments, using the irregular guerrilla warfare, as the over-organized army of the enemy can't afford this kind of war. The objective of today is to assault the factory to the east of Agios Konstantinos and steal the radio station of the AAF deployed in the area to establish a solid position for the headquarters of the Leonidas rebels and the SAFL.

The mission is, in resumed terms, a multi-task mission in which you have an optional task (the outpost elimination). To end the mission, the main objective (the factory assault) must be completed. The mission also has the possibility of being played with the Mediterranean Postprocess effect, being activated by Radio 0-2.
