Inferno (CSGO)

If you don't have CSGO mounted in your Garry's Mod, then you'll need these two packs I uploaded:

These two packs contain all of the assets needed in the map! Even if you don't have any game, they have everything.

If you do have CSGO, then you don't need to download the two packs above to enjoy the map! Just download this map here, and it should work perfectly.


INTERNAL NAME: DE_INFERNO_CSGOPORT


This is a refined port of de_inferno (often known as Infernew since this is the vastly altered and updated version that was released in late 2016, though I've also ported the older version), the bomb map made by Valve, from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Unlike other ports, this map was carefully fixed to be as close as possible to the real map! Also this port was made from the latest version available of Inferno in CSGO.

If you don't know this map, it contains a neatly-detailed Italian village full of colours and old streets and rustic apartments. There's also a ruined church near a graveyard and a fountain, a garage or two and a little park near a beautiful river.

- All areaportals fixed and working
- Skybox fixed and working (moving clouds!)
- Soundscapes working
- Navigation mesh included and working
- Particle effects fixed and working
- Dynamic shadows on some objects to make it look more like CSGO
- Optimized


Known bugs:

- The map shows general poor performance. That's because it's very detailed and thus resource-intensive. I assure you that I've optimized the map as much as possible (full VVIS, working areaportals, etc) but it might too much for some computers.
- This map may cause crashes! Also due to how resource-intensive it is, the map may crash if you transition too quickly from one area to the next. However, I would think that crashing is rather rare and easy to avoid if you move at normal speed. Tell me in the comments if you experience regular crashes.

I'll release more CSGO ports and I'm ready to take requests.
