Talking Sabre Cat Follower

!!!First of all to make it fair. I haven't been working on this for a long time and I won't be anymore in the future either. For I'm not playing Skyrim and also don't have the Creation Kit installed anymore. I'm really sorry for everyone hoping for a new version of Wyntha. Feel free to work on the mod creating your own versions of it and upload them for others. I wish you all a lot of fun with your game and farewell.:-)

Inspired by those many different Khajiit races that seem to exist in Elsweyr I thought of one of these talking huge Tigers as a follower - and here he is. I called him Wyntha.

I wanted to keep it simple. There is this huge khajiit your character has known for many years (think of a story how they met if you like) which was always at his side until they arrived in Skyrim and the character was caught by imperial soldiers. Then they lost each other but because of his friendship and instincts the cat can find his friend again and they wander around Skyrim and fight together.

BUT FIRST: HOW TO - download a mod on Steam (for all who are asking this question in the comments or want to ask)
Steam makes this absolutely simple. Press the subribe button under the pictures above (green). Next time you start Skyrim it will download automatically when you don't play offline. Under the main menu is written then what it is doing with your installed mods (updating or downloading or whatever) When the download is done you can start the game. Mods will automatically be activated. You have nothing to do than pressing the green button. Good luck =)

Wyntha will find you as soon as you have escaped Helgen or any time later in the game. So you don't have to start a new game. Your gathering will make sense any time.
Do not wonder about the old amulet in your inventory when you activate the mod. You will give it away as soon as you start the map marker quest for Wyntha. It is of no else use.

You can't really dismiss Wyntha. He won't go home if you part ways.That is because he is your blood brother and he will follow you to the end of the world. If you want him to stay at a place then tell him to wait. If you want to get rid of him because you don't need a tiger companion then deactivate the mod.

Use AmazingFollowerTweaks with this. It works great with it. And you can have more followers than just Wyntha, then.

Features:
- Sabre Cat follower (Phamar, maybe Tojay or Tojay-raht I was told)
- map marker for Wyntha if you let him wait and forget him or he got stuck somewhere and you didn't notice (marker quest started by talking to him)

Changes/Fixed:
- now the Amulet ist really useful for Wyntha - but only for him, doesn't work for your character or others
- thought Wyntha was a little bit overpowered. Tried to balance it. Tell me, please, if you think he is too weak now
- slowed Wyntha down a bit
-made him able to go swimming (he hates that ;-) )
- and one more: when you make a new start of the game your character will have the Selfmade Amulet the moment you enter Helgen (did not work properly before)

Sorry when there are some german words here or there I missed. I started this mod just for my use and decided later to publish it. Also sorry for my maybe not so good english here and there. I try my very best (mostly all the time ;-))

Have fun with Wyntha and DON'T get scared and fight him when you activate the mod and he comes running to you after a short while!

Important. Mod is not compatible with horseriding for followers mods.
That ist because Wyntha is in the followerfaction and will try to ride a horse, too, but he has no real animations for that. In best case this looks odd. In worst case you are thrown out of the game.
Me personally I'm using AFT and ConvenientHorses.
Convenient horses skips the game but there is a little backdoor. You can decide there if followers ride horses or not. If you have only Wyntha as follower you can disable that so he walks. If you have other followers (because of AFT perhaps) and you want them to ride with you you can dismiss Wyntha (will run after you nevertheless) and then you can jump on your horse. All a little bit tricky.

When you use a follower mod (which ever) and unsubscribe so that the follower is suddenly out of the game you always have to dismiss the follower BEFORE you unsubscribe or the game thinks you still have a follower. This can mess things up gravely.
