Description:

The Drone Defense Garrison is a base defense system concept which allows a player to launch a squad of 6 drones into the airspace around their base, using only 1 button press. Each drone is armed with 2 gatling turrets and 2 fixed rocket launchers. They can also be remote controlled. The takeoff sequence is done using only timers.

INFO:
-Each drone bay has a control seat with an easy launch sequence for remote controlling the specific drone. Simply press 1 then 2 to control the drone, then 1 and 2 again to initiate automated takeoff. Do not touch the controls until the drone has finished it's deployment sequence.

-To adjust the height or distance that the drones fly to, simply increase the time delay on the "Drone Height" and "Drone Radius" groups in the control panel.

-The gatling turrets can easily be switched out for missile turrets because they are connected to a medium cargo container underneath.




NOTICE: I have extended the foundation of the buildings an extra 2 blocks deep so this structure can be pasted on moderately uneven terrain and still be flush with the surface. It is intended to be pasted at the height shown in the pictures.
