The Urus is the larger variant of the small and more affordable Torus. The Urus features more than double the amount of cargo capacity than the Torus has, making this ship very popular for mid-sized companies. AOE’s addition of a jump drive and the fact that this ship is able to land on planets enable this vessel to reach any destination possible, given that you load up enough fuel for its hungry hydrogen engines. Due to the shear amount of cargo that can be hauled by this vessel, corporations tend to assign smaller escort ships in order to protect the valuable cargo, although the Urus has a considerable amount of firepower it is not nearly enough to keep pesky pirates away. The Urus is usually piloted by two people and even offers a small amount of living space.
