Rotor Block for Survival

描述
***Change from 0.5 update: you can only recover the rotor component by deconstructing with hammer, always remove component before removing the whole block***

While we all wait for the mechanical blocks update, here is the rotor block survival ready.

You need to craft the rotor component in the workbench.

Important note: don't place the rotor to deep inside the ground because it will destroy your rotor component

With the new Community Edition this may be worth fixing 1 last time. I know you may not want to and if not that's fine but if this mod gets to the modders running the Community Edition updates then this could potentially get added in and they would have to keep it working instead after that. Just as a suggestion anyway.

too much work to fix this. You can always use a steam engine instead

Mechanical blocks are cool, but you can't attach anything to those. Is it possible to update this for the new game (0.7) or is the rotor completely gone from the game now?

how do i get the frame off this please, i have got the main component but has not got a frame

cant seem to get it to work, i craft the internals then the main rotor go to place it on stone cube walk into it and falls over am i missing something here

Ah cool found it, was trying to use for automated farm and its accessable pretty much only from the bottom so tunneled to it and it works thanks.

its a small spot somewhere at the center of the block
