CPN gas station.
CPN (Centrala Produktów Naftowych) was Polish national petroleum retail monopoly.The company had over 1,400 gas/service stations and nearly 600 tanker cars for fuel transport.
In 1999 comapny was merged with Petrochemia Płock and PKN Orlen was created. The company is a significant European publicly traded firm with major operations in Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, and the Baltic States.
Until the present date, many Poles still perceive the name CPN as a synonym to “gas and service station”.
