Her damage output is quite low, but she runs faster than other characters and regenerates health. She can even heal and, yes, resurrect teammates!

She starts off with her Caduceus Staff, which can be used to heal players and animals for 40 health. It cannot heal non-player monsters however (as to avoid accidentally healing the wrong target) or Mercy herself. The animation is quite slow and can leave Mercy vulnerable to attack, so make sure you yourself are not in the line of fire and that your friends are willing to protect you!

Don't be confused! The 'durability' of the Caduceus Staff is not like the durability on other weapons. It starts off at 0% and actually builds as Mercy heals. In fact, once it reaches 100%, it can be used to resurrect a single teammate! Simply use a fully charged staff on a ghost player and watch the magic happen.
