I might make a version that doesn't require it in the future, if demand is high.


INTERNAL NAME: CS_ASSAULT_CSGOPORT


This is a refined port of cs_assault, the hostage map made by Valve, from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Unlike other ports, this map was carefully fixed to be as close as possible to the real map! Also this port was made from the latest version available of Assault in CSGO.

If you don't know this map, it contains a few streets, a small station, a medium-sized warehouse and it's set in a suburban/industrial environment.

Features:

- HDR and LDR compatible
- All cubemaps included and working
- All areaportals fixed and working
- Skybox working
- Soundscapes working
- Navigation mesh included and working
- CSGO color correction included for safety (use mat_colorcorrection 0 in console to turn it off)
- Dynamic shadows on some objects to make it look more like CSGO
- Optimized


Known bugs:

- Some surfaces are lit rather abruptly: I can't fix that for the moment. But it's not very noticeable and only in few places.
- The glass panes on the roof of the warehouse look constantly broken: they break like they should, but they shouldn't look broken until they are obviously damaged. That's probably a texture or model problem, I can't fix that at the moment. If someone knows how to fix, I'd gladly hear it.
- Some of the fans up in the vent shafts aren't working! Good eye. That's because I can't get them to rotate the right way for some reason. So I left them static. All the other fans are working. If you have a fix for this, tell me.

I'll release more CSGO ports and I'm ready to take requests.
