I just posted "Crypt of the Yorozuya Amplified", which updates the mod to work with the DLC, AND adds Kagura, Katsura, and Elizabeth. The description even has a guide to the origins of each reference, in case you're wondering. Please check it out, I'm pretty stoked about it myself.
I'm hoping to at least add Kagura and Katsura into the Amplified update before releasing it. Probably the hardest part is coming up with fitting references for each armor - especially the Obsidian armor and its power-up gimmick.
I just need to figure out/finish a few more armor sprites and do the character artwork, then it'll be ready.
@Zanelf/Tekus/Bento: Like I said in the description, I was planning to add more characters but I kind of lost track due to other pixel art projects. Kagura was supposed to be the bard, for example. Kintoki is already the "clone" enemy. The problem with Necrodancer is that all the characters aside from Cadence have some limitation to make them more challenging, so finding fitting places for characters is sort of challenging. I thought of making the Shinsengumi a seperate mod for a while.
@Upades: I know that Amplified basically screws over old mods, but since I still don't own the DLC It'd be hard to check if everything works if I tried to fix it up. I'd have to find some spritesheets somewhere. Plus, if I do own Amplified, can I still make mods for vanilla Necrodancer?
@Jesusxd96: Thanks!
It's due to "Amplified changing the character sprite sheets, all character mods are broken until they're updated to the new sprite sheets by the creator"
"If you're the creator, you'll need to edit the new sprite sheets for your character mod to work, or just use the default character sprites. "
Please I want to play this mod ;c
