What is Denchy's Balance Overhaul
This balance overhaul mod is designed to balance ARK: Survival Of The Fittest as it has officially been placed on hiatus by Studio Wildcard. This mod and its changes will be completely community driven all features will be influenced heavily by the opinions of the SOTF community and implemented if they are deemed sensible, we will keep our personal opinions to ourselves ensuring our decisions are impartial. It is encouraged that all players leave suggestions as we want the game to be fair and enjoyable for everyone. I strive for this mod to be on the majority of the unofficial servers as this removes unbalanced and unfair features from the game.

The future of this mod may see the introduction of new items, weapons, soups, dinos, tools, etc.

  • Reduced Spino trample damage
  • Reduced Spino attack radius
  • Reduced Crossbow damage
  • Added the Compass
  • Increased Sabertooth tame time
  • Removed the Gigantopithecus gaining bonus melee damage on tame
  • Reduced Gigantopithecus movement speed

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issue with old Crossbow engram appearing
