Actually you can go for 3* 320x240, for Hardcore Teamwork I combined all 3 into a massive mosaic.

As far as i know you need to make sure the pictures are the same pixel size as separate tile maybe 10x10? And you need to add them as background in certain folder and than you will see them in editor.
