It's almost like arena ... except that the outside of the map is ocean instead of forest … and that makes a massive difference when it comes to strategy. This map was inspired by an idea from JPence14.

There is a line of trees (2 trees thick) which separates players from the ocean. You can cut through the trees to get access to fish and to build a navy.
Wood is considerably scarcer than on the normal arena, so I have added additional forests in the central parts of the map. You will be grateful for this, should you lose the war for the water.

To play choose the following when setting up a match:

Map style: Custom
Location: ZN@Searena_v1.1

- increased the distance between player lands and the edge of the map
- got rid of grouped_by_team

@mills - ♥♥♥♥ you are right. It's wierd though. Did you have this this happen in the scenario editor or in an actual match? Also, were your town centers and walls practically overlapping eachother?

I'll look into it when I can; in the mean time, here is some stuff you can try:

If I remember correctly, what I did was to set it up that players would be "grouped by team" if they were on the same team and the "team together" tickbox is checked. What this means is that the team will share walls. If that's what you mean by messed up spawn positions, then don't tick the box.
Otherwise you also want to make sure to pick a suitably large map size.

For a FFA, everyone should get a seperate base regardless. Just select a sufficiently large map size.
