dm_hydro is a small map made for Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. The map takes place at an abandoned hydro-electric dam that's been left to rot and fall apart by the Combine of City 17. Shortly after the destruction of City 17, several refugees and rebel soldiers found the dam and took refuge, unbeknownst to them, they entered the dam the very moment a large force of Combine Soldiers entered the remains of the dam.

The map is split into two sections, the area on the left being a section of the dam that has been converted into a Combine base for the Combine players. The area on the right is the entrance to the dam, it's also the spawn position for the Rebel players.

As both teams move forward, they meet together in the middle of the map and duke it out on the front of the dam itself.

- The map is internally referred to as "dm_hydro" for those who want to operate by console and it can be found in the "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch" section of the map select screen.
