No, I haven’t heard of any workaround I’m afraid.

flickering appears cause there is no z axis (height) on decals. if they overlap and you move the camera, the game cant decide which one it should screen, and it flickers. when you hold the camera still, after short time flickering will end.
If you have a straight coast or cliff, you can circumvent the problem, by placing the decals edge on edge, so there is zero overlapping. but when its not straight, this is very hard to do without ending up with quadratial exposed decals.
i hoped there is a workaround which i havent thought of, but it seems you dont know more about it either.

@CertainDeath I don’t know what causes this flickering. Truth be told I haven’t used this decal in a while. I’ll look into it though.

very nice look. but its impossible for me to place that onto cliffs or coasts, which are not straight without heavy flickering or clear spaces in between.
Any hints?

Would there be any chance you could make this roack for a desert map so light brown ? this would look great in the arrowhead map.
