The Gladiator Frigate is a Superheavy Police Interceptor commisioned by the Self-Defense Force of Fortuna and awarded to Ursa Aerospace.

Plagued relentlessly by pirates for years, Fortuna's lucrative mining operation had gone from being it's biggest target to it's greatest strength, as it was able to provide Ursa Aerospace with the research and development required to shift the company's focus from efficiency and affordability to cutting-edge performance and luxury.

The first resulting models from these breakthroughs had taken to the space lanes by storm, forcing an almost total retreat of pirate elements from Fortuna in a matter of months.
