In case it needs to be said, not intended for PvP. I'm a PvE player and I build my ships based on AI challenges. Player-vs-Player mechanics are a whole other ballgame I know nothing about, and do not design for.

I'd reached a point in my 4.0+ survival game where I felt ready to take on Masperon. I did not, however, feel ready to put the Selene in harm's way, and I wasn't confident in my little SV's ability to handle the POIs there (and rightfully so, as it turns out). Thus, I constructed the Seraphim's big, badass cousin. Even with the turret updates, she's got the guts to go head-to-head with most of Masperon's POIs.

*Just not that big fortress. That one needs a whole armada, for the number of turrets it's packing. Good grief!
