After the 2. World War, east-germany needs new locomotive for any freight-transport, because the old vehicles were completely obsolete or send to other countries as a repair service. The german engineers had no experience to build new electric trains and they rebuild old locomotives to learn and study the technology. The new locomotive E42 was built by these informations.

From 1962 to 1976, 292 locomotives were built. Today: Some private railways are still in use the BR 242 in Germany and Switzerland.

the Transport Fever model
The vehicle was originally created and published by me for Train Fever. I have adapted this model for transport fever with all the new features.

I used to have this (red) H0 locomotive model in the early 80s. I'll always remember fondly.

I have an analog Piko Model Railroad locomotive model of this locomotive back from the 60s! My dad got it when was pretty young and now I get to enjoy it! It's really awesome!

Vielen Dank, für die Lokomotiven.
Bei der Zugübersicht in dem Verwaltungsfenster für die Linien wird leider nur ein kleines violetes Viereck angezeigt, und kein Miniatur-Symbol der verwendeten Lok. Könntest Du dies bitte evtl noch anpassen? Das währe schön.

Kleiner Wermutstropfen, leider gibt es im Linienmanager keine korrekte Darstellung der 242.

Entwarnung: den Fehler mit der Textur habe ich mit einer anderen Textur behoben. Eine Fehlermeldung kommt nicht mehr, savegame stürzt aber trotzdem ab. An deiner Mod liegt es demnach nicht.

Wäre auch Schade bei den schönen Modellen. Danke nochmal für deine schnelle Reaktion.

@Stepke - Hab windows 10. Vor einer Woche funktionierte alles. Ich war im Urlaub und hab gestern das alte savegame laden wollen. Liegt es daran das ich noch die alte Version des Mods drin hatte? Du hattest ja zwischenzeitlich die Mod aktualisiert - wenn ich das richtig aus den Änderungshinweisen erkennen kann. Entfernt habe ich den Mod aus dem Savegame nicht.

Ist auch nicht weiter schlimm, wollte sowieso nochmal anfangen.

@ClubCola (GER) Auf welchen Betriebssystem führst du den Mod aus? Hast du den Mod aus dem Savegame entfernt?

Savegame stürzt ab - im crash_dump habe ich folgendes gefunden:

error loading dds file: res/textures/models/vehicle/train/BR242_rust_albedo.dds

Hab auch schon neu abboniert, scheint nichts zu bringen.
