Personally, I fell in love with my balloonicorn the moment I uncrated it. I take him everywhere! He helps me confuse heavies as I bat their heads in and he watches my sentry while I go find more metal. Truely he is a tf2er's best friend, but can we honestly say that a small assist credit in the kill feed pays him/her back enough for all that he does for us?

Long story short, I believe our balloonicorns need more credit for their assists and that the good fellows over at Valve should do these happy helpers a favor and track their assists, similar to strange weapons.

Many people have already suggested this also be added to other items that are credited with assists, such as the Teddy Rosebelt, and naturally I 100% agree.

As more comments spill in it has come to my attention that this idea has already been posted to the suggestion subform on the steam forums. I appologize for not noticing this before, but I rarely visit the steam forums and after searching on the steam workshop for this idea I figured I would submit the idea. I am not looking for any sort of credit or fame for this idea, since it is such a small addition to an item that I had no part in creating. My actions were based entirely on the desire to have a kill assist counter added and to spread the idea.
