Just installed the game and tried the mod and it's working fine. I'm unsure why it's not working on your end. Remember this beam only shows up for shadow/radiant/stellar/crystal drops. Also make sure VFX Quantity is set to 1 in Settings > Video Options > Custom.

its currently the only mod im using, and yet still not working.

Nothing changed with the game and nothing changed with the mod. So for sure it's still working. If it's not working for you it's most likely a mod conflict.

@Газо it's not possible because all crystal drops use the same vfx file, so it's not possible to separate them.
