This is what the placename translates into in English

"[The] church of [St.] Mary (Llanfair) [of the] pool (pwll) of the white hazels (gwyn gyll) near to [lit. "over against"] (go ger) the fierce whirlpool (y chwyrn drobwll) [and] the church of [St.] Tysilio (Llantysilio) of the red cave (-ogo[f] goch)". Various elements have occasionally been translated differently, for example "the white pool among the hazel trees" or "the cave of St Tysilio the Red"

The towns only small yet has a car dealership which I’m positive is only there for the name to be plastered across the front. Anyway it could be called Bolton or something so at least the welsh have an imagination. Good asset as well.
