Welcome to Aberdale, a river flood plain region situated in the subtropics. With humid and warm climates, foliage are abundant throughout the whole region, from mountains to the fertile plain that is dominated by the meandering river.

With powerful water physics and detailed terraforming tools, we deserve to build our city with a more detail and realistic map. This map is 100% handcrafted from complete flat land, while landscapes are carefully painted using geomorphological logic in real life. Diverse landforms can be found within the 25 tile region, with the presence of valleys which are optimized for dam placement, rivers, flat lands, river mouth, shoreline, lagoon, headland and mountains. If you want to explore more outbound which is detailed as well, 81-tile mod will be your best partner. Highways are also optimized for traffic flow and realism, while two not-perfect yet smooth service interchanges are prebuilt to serve the starting tile.

To make the map more realistic, several mods and assets are required to run the map. Special thanks to the Author of the mods and custom foliage, without them the map would look dull and less exciting.

By the way, the map name "Aberdale" has its own meaning, with you are curious about it. Originated from Celtic languages, "aber-" is a prefix in a place name meaning "river mouth", where "-dale" is a suffix meaning "River" which is from Old English. Therefore "Aberdale" can be understood as "mouth of a river".
