I would assume so, and almost all sight mods are implemented that way. So it's certainly not a wrong placement. I'm simply suggesting you to try out the forward mounting position, and if you happen to like it, many of your sight mods make really good material for a forward mounted variant.

Respect for your quality line of work. I really wanna use many of your sights. But as a tacticool realism freak, I noticed that in real life sights are often mounted forward. Usually the lense component sits slightly ahead of the magazine position. Seems like more people are getting to notice that, and some of SethSamson's sights were made that way, not all of which worked. I strongly recommend you to try that too. At least to me, once I go forward, I never go back!
