I've stopped working on this add-on so something may break in an update to the game.

I've gone and reworked the original SWEP, since it didn't have an alternate fire for missiles and the bullets used to fire from the far away from the gun's location.

Weapons:
Normal beam: Normal damage weapon. Hold left mouse to charge and press the right button to fire missiles.
Plasma beam: Fire damage weapon that ignites your enemies! Has stronger missiles.
Phazon beam: Disintegrates enemies and has a rapid fire option instead of missiles.
Ice Beam: Slow down your enemies and freeze them with a charge shot. Can also fire missiles!

This looks great with this overlay as well!

This uses the standard gravity gun as a base, if you have a replacement model, this weapon will not look as intended.

Missing materials error - Temporary fix is to disable specular with the console command: mat_specular 0

I like this mod but i get script errors on Ice and Plasma Beam while i shoot at NPC's

I'm not the best person to be learning from, as my code is pretty messy itself and probably isn't good.

I actually stopped because I started working on other projects in life.
You're welcome to edit and tear this thing apart and rebuild it from the ground up in your own if you want. I've more or less abandoned this, so any one is welcome to do as this wish when it comes to editting this addon. You can re-upload your own versions as well, just make sure you give credits to the other authors of models as well

now i understand why you discontinued this thing, VERY COMPLICATED, so i'm going to need tips every now and then.
