There are two ways a test subject can solve a puzzle. One is using a piston platform in order to build momentum through portals for those who have not played Portal Stores: Mel. But for those who have completed the story of Portal Stories: Mel (such as myself a couple of times), the technique of portaling from the ceiling to the floor to bounce up to get to the platform where the cube is should be familiar to anyone.

I welcome multiple solutions for test subjects to solve, while those in comments believe that there is only one solution to the puzzle. It's as if we are pretending to be closed-minded test subjects. Different solutions; same goal. Or how about multiple solutions; different goal where there are multiple exits?
