Definitely, the russian forces occupied the entire eastern part of the island the night of the 17th July, when VDV's 56th Guards Airborne Brigade made an airborne assault on the northern strategic airfield of Molos.The VSR has noticed about the finding of a possible HVT in the north of the island, with the name of "Mahmud", a veteran kazakh weapons dealer who is making businesses supplying light weaponry and ammunition to the APLF, selling them stolen weapons like russian AKMs, serbian M70s and some heavier weaponry like AA Iglas.Federal Council has decided to deploy in the island the 10th Spetsnaz GRU Brigade and the 45th Guards Separate Reconnaissance Regiment, an airborne spetsnaz regiment under the orders of the GRU.

Recently the VSR had the opportunity to know the location of the high value target named 'Mahmud' somewhere in the northern region of Altis, a few kilometres to the north of the capital city, Kavala. A team of 6 recconaissance Spetsnaz under direct orders of the GRU directory will be deployed on the Synneforos mountain to contact with a cooperator codenamed 'Dmitriy', who was contacted by SVR agents some days ago. Dmitriy textually said that "he would offer his information to the soldiers who can take him down". As his information is of extreme importance, SVR couldn't lose him, so they accepted his demand. The recon Spetsnaz team will get the information about the hideout of Mahmud and his personal bodyguard, and then wait for reinforcements to lead a seek and destroy operation against him. SVR and GRU want him to be neutralized.
