VC Dragoon Gunship

Exclusively used by Void Corp Security forces, the Dragoon Gunship is the embodiment of intimidation via close air support. These gunships usually operate in squadrons of two or three, the most famous of which is the Northwind Elite. This squadron operates from the one of a kind military skycarrier, the VCS Northwind. They have seen some of the hardest combat of all VC security forces, but consistently come out on top.

Because of its role as a dedicated ground attack craft, the Dragoon Gunship is designed to be flown pitched forward so that its lift thrusters also function as its forward thrust and its large reverse thrusters then can operate as lift thrusters. This configuration allows for excellent maneuverability and target tracking when in the hands of an experienced pilot. Due to these unusual flight characteristics, however, there are few pilots who qualify to fly this agile death machine and so relatively few are currently deployed by Void Corp.
