[Event Map] Outpost-B1

NOTE: This map is part of a series of "[Event Maps]"

1. This map shall function as a relief to on-ship maps by providing bunking areas, training areas, simulation rooms, etc.
2. This map may serve large servers (60+ players) with minimal FPS lag.
3. It shall allow players of each combat type and purpose an opportunity to fullfill their roles.

Builders: Ample space to build
Main Attack Force: Large open areas, Close quarter areas
Pilots: Open space to combat enemies and transport troops.
Snipers & Recon: large open areas, long hallways, large rooms, and vantage points
Roleplayers: Immerse yourself in a Sci-Fi themed environment that is as complex as the event host decides.

- *Supports large servers (60+ players): Optimization, Player spawns, and a large map with a variety of rooms
- **AI Nodes: So NPCs can follow targets rather than stand around

- Light Fog:
- - can be toggled and edited via a "Fog Editor" found in your Entities -> Editor tab of the spawn menu

- Spawn Area:
- - Includes a Teleport Room, so players can get to the action immediately, or head to their bunks.
- - Includes a Training Area in case any recruits come on
- - Includes multiple "Waiting Areas" where staff can perma-prop items and players can RP instead of playing line simulator

- Hangar 1:
- - Located next to Outpost 1
- - The Hangar can snugly fit up to 3 LAATs for StarwarsRP
- - Contains a Teleporter that goes to and from the Spawn Area

- Outpost 1:
- - Includes two Simulation Rooms
- - -> These rooms can be edited by the players
- - -> Prevent edits by toggling a barrier via buttons inside and outside the Spectator Room
- - Includes a Landing Platform directly attached to the Outpost and located above a lake
- - Includes a Jail Cell and small Security Area
- - Includes a Mess Hall
- - Includes a Medbay
- - Includes a Garage for land vehicles
- - Includes a variety of open rooms designed to serve as Bunks
- - Includes a variety of large rooms designed to fit Debrief or Jedi
- - Includes a Communications Room
- - Includes a large Generator Room
- - Buttons to toggle Alarms or the Generators & Lights are in the Communications Room and the Generator Maintenance Side Room.

- Outpost 2:
- - Includes a large fortified wall around a smaller interior
- - Includes an outer-door connected with a walkable wall, which can only be opened from the inside
- - Includes an inner-door connected with the main structure which can be opened on both sides

- Environment:
- - Certain props are editable by high-ranking staff, in-case redesign is necessary
- - A mixture of plains, lightly forested areas, and barren areas. (B1 stands for Barren 1)
- - In StarwarsRP, can serve as such planets as: Corellia, Dantooine, Kashyyk (plains), Kuat, Naboo, Thyferra


*Note: I have done what I can do while keeping the "Open Area" for pilots and large events still open. Open areas & terrain will always cause FPS drop, as will the amount of props & npcs that players have to register.

**Note 2: NPCs do not open doors so they don't mess up timing and progression for events.

- This is my second map release.

- I have a lot of experience building, working with Wiremod, and hosting events / simulations for very large StarwarsRP servers. As such, I understand how hard it can be to find a "good" map to play on that won't lag players and will still be decent.

- For that reason, I will be creating a series of "[Event Maps]" for everyone to enjoy.
