描述
The Oriental Pearl Tower is a television tower located in Shanghai, China, on the bank of the Huangpu River. It has become an icon of Shanghai and China alike, and is comprised of 11 spheres, two of which have amenities such as observation floors and a rotating restaurant. Construction began in 1990, and took four years to complete. On the seventh of July, 2007 the tower served as the Chinese location for Live Earth, a worldwide Music concert. Ingame, the Oriental Pearl Tower provides +10% Culture and Great Person generation in all cities, and becomes available with Telecommunications.

Requires an expansion pack, and credit to Sukriact for the icon!

@8z: I'll admit it's not an engineering marvel on the scale of some, but considering that Prora and the Sydney Opera House are wonders, I think this tower deserves a wonder in-game for iconic value if nothing else. It was this building (or more specifically, the view from the Bund) that launched my career as an expat. :)

it is on the game cover ! it is the only structure appear on game cover but not in game.

Honestly, as an Chinese who lives in Shanghai, I don't really feel that the Pearl Tower is actually a world wonder. Whatever, good mod.
(Fun fact: In elemental schools the Pearl Tower is called the "Oriental Pearl TV Tower".)
