描述
This is my version of portal 1's room you wake up in, using some (partially) new concepts.

[Status update:
Going to create more of the Portal beginning rooms using some new ideas. I started on one of the rooms using another version of this I made. This is only an idea, and not an actual puzzle.]

I also agree with @ArgleBargle. I found some notable design flaws in the elevator room:

1) I was able to hop off the railing of the catwalk, and jump into the slime...which isn't deadly! Then I can't exit!
2) You have overlapping railing segments which looks ugly.
3) The soundscapes aren't exactly what I would call correct, coherent, or consistent by any means. You'll have a much higher chance of getting a thumbs up if you pay attention to them!

Wow, you really did this one good! The stasis chamber idea fit, and the world portals worked as well as they always do. But what I REALLY like, was the elevator room. Great job, Corecii!

Corecii, I appreciate those who take the time to make maps with Hammer. However, it's frustrating to visit a map where it's not clear that you're just experimenting. Your description of the map was overly optimistic. "A" for effort, "F" for expection. I apologize if that sounds horribly negative. That wasn't my intent. Keep going, but please make it clear that you're tossing out a puzzle/adventure... or merely doing a test of concept. One creator did a test of concept with laser reflection. The map was trivial, but that was expected. I gave a positive review since the concept needed further attention.

@Queen: Al lthe textures and model in the map were all with Portal 2. I had another version that did use a custom model for the room and a few other custom things in it, but I couldn't get it BSPZipped correctly. You should be able to BSPZip it using AlienSwarm's authoring tools. More info is on the dev wiki
