I was actually not sure if I should post this comment. I mean, why would you be interested in how people solve the map? But I guess the comments and stuff and how i receive the map is still interesting for you ;)

I also know that you weren't trying to fully re-create portal, however you should be careful with your interpretations of such chambers. Valve had reasons for why the chambers were as they were.
@mood3rd, that happened to me too. I didn't know that goo pit was escapable! Actually, there shoud never have been a goo pit there, as there was no goo there in the original Portal. Confusing and frustrating in that one area.
