Realistic Helicopter!

I present to you my first Besiege replica ever, the Boeing–Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche.

The Comanche is unique in a way since it only uses a swashplate with collective lift, and a tailrotor to navigate through the air. This gives the helicopter a realistic feeling when flying. The Comanche is equipped 8 rockets, 4 missiles and a cannon, all hidden inside the stub-wings. Apart from this it also has a detailed cockpit and retractable landing gear to give it that perfect stealthy look.

How to play:

The cockpit is equipped with some indicators. The left lever is for landing gear, The middle piston is for Engines and the right lever is for Stub-wings. The Cockpit skinpack also shows you some details.

To start the engine in-air, hold C and don't touch X until the rotor has gained an even rotation. Same goes for a normal take-off.


Controls:

  • C toggles Rotor
  • V toggles between Cameras
  • M / N extends or retracts Landing gear.

  • X / Z for Lift
  • T & G for Pitch
  • F & H for Roll
  • R & Y for Yaw

  • T + X for forwards flight

  • J / U extends or retracts Stub-wings.
  • I / O / K / L for firing rockets
  • 4 / 6 for firing missiles
  • 5 for firing front cannon

    Alternative controls:
  • ▲ & ▼ for Pitch
  • ◄ & ► for Yaw & Roll
  • Rshift & Rctrl for lift

Sadly, the moments I play besiege is rare nowadays. I have other things that takes up too much time. I plan on getting back to it one day tho.
