===========================SETTING======================

(This is the start of a SEQUEL to the War of 2017 campaign (you can find the missions in the "All My Missions" collection) so playing the previous campaign is recommended before starting this one.)

12th of July, 2017:

The peace treaty is signed between NATO, Russia and her allies. The former enemies start to lay the foundations for the Counter Terrorism Coalition (CTC).

9th of August, 2017:

CTC is officially founded. Its first action is to investigate who might be behind the hacked US drone that started the war and the assasination attempt at the peace conference in Fallujah. The intelligence agencies of the member countries start to search for answers.

17th of September, 2017:

The joint investigation effort uncovers that these attacks have originated from a Takistani insurgent group. (CTC is surprised since Takistan was considered the youngest but the most stable country in the Middle East.) Intelligence also identifies the leader of the insurgent group: a warlord named Abdul-Basir Kakar. His location is unknown.

19th of October, 2017:

A CTC task force is sent to the northern mountains of Takistan.

27th of October, 2017:

Intel discovers that the warlord hides in the village of Sakhe.

Early morning, the next day:

An American CTC team is ordered to capture or kill the warlord. Intel says he is not guarded so a small team is sent.
