Doing hair cosmetics for characters that already have hair can be tricky and the sniper doesn’t have many hair items for that reason. What was also a technical nightmare is I wanted the hair to be paintable but I wanted the sideburns to match as well… So in order to do that I modeled sideburns that went over his default sideburn and were skintight… However in doing this whenever the sniper’s jaw moved the modeled sideburns had to match so this required facial flexes… The hairdo is simple but I think it makes him look ruggedly handsome. Plus as an unintentional bonus if you paint his hair light brown the Sniper looks like Tarma from Metal Slug. And that is cool in my book. ..Also dat jiggle bones hair follicle is the bees knees. Yay Flat Penguin!
