I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle… As I go ridin’ merrily along…
Yeah In hindsight… having the spy wear spurs would probably be a hazardous choice of attire in his line of work… But he looks damn fine in them! But in all seriousness The spurs were an elegant solution to a conceptual headache. See the Spy’s pants flare out pretty far from his shoes and any item made in TF2 has to go over the preexisting model… So as a result it’s hard not to get a bad case of cankles when modeling boots for the spy. By adding spurs with bulky straps around the ankles of the boot you are able to fix that problem quite well.
