描述
In the 1800's, Tuberculosis was a serious infectious bacterial disease that mainly affects the lungs. Thousands, if not millions, fell victim to the White Plague. Louisville, Ky was one of the worst places where the White Plague occured. So bad to the point a Tuberculosis Hospital called Waverly Hills Sanatorium was built in 1910 to try to fight back at the deadly disease. The White plague was taking over, so in 1924, they had to build an even bigger building that could handle all of the patients. In 1926, the new and improved Waverly Hills was finished. It helped, but people were still dying from this disease. Legend tells us that it was to the point where one patient was dying every hour. From 1926 to 1961, thousands of patients died there... The building may be empty, but they still roam the halls...

wow i actually cant believe someone made this map! I've never been but Waverly is almost right down the road from where i live and my dad used to do construction work there! Thank you for making this!

hi! Someone who went to waverly here. the map is very detailed and eerily similar to the actual waverly. 10/10, love this map. Read the description too, it is 100% true that patients were dying every hour. It was documented!!

It's wonderful that your grandma managed to survive. But I can only imagine all the patients she knew and got along with who never made it out.

Very well made. The atmosphere is really nice. The walk up towards the building itself is menacing and creepy. Think I might use it for an event on my server at some point. Keep up the work with it though.

I had to subscribe because it's the only good map I can find of Kentucky, my home state.
