Surface Cruising speed: 3 Knots

Dive Cruising speed: 5 Knots

The first ship in the U, series. More of a proof of concept sub the Ux 1 was pressed into service as a long range scouting sub, able to safely maintain eyes on any non submerged enemy and provide some light harrasement. Its true surface cruising speed is actually 4 knots but the ship struggles to keep its main gun above the water line in rough chop at this speed. Great training platform for new submariners.
