Shocking Truth!

From the anime "The Coffin Princess", comes the clumsy wizard Chaika!

Update 09/05/16 - Fixed a bug that caused Chaika's Coffin to only have 8 slots and make any items picked up disappear when their inventory was full if they weren't the host.


Health - 75
Hunger - 150
Sanity - 275


- Slightly faster than normal
- Loses less sanity at night
- Loses less sanity around sanity draining objects
- Gains a little sanity during the day
- Fire does slightly less damage
- Extreme temperatures do less damage
- Slightly stronger than normal
- Will not recieve health penalty when revived

Notes

Chaika is a bit like a glass cannon. She's more powerful than other characters, but is very weak with only 75 health.
To compensate for her low health she gets damaged less by fire and extreme temperatures and does not get a health penalty when revived.


Chaika's Gandr

A long range weapon used by wizard's and will drain 15 sanity when fired.

- Uses 15 sanity for every shot
- Chaika can use it right away and can also be crafted
- Can be placed on the ground to create an emergency night light.
- High damage
- Far range
- Low firing speed

Notes

Chaika's high sanity basically acts as her ammo for her gandr. This is also the reason why her sanity recharges slighty during the day.
This weapon is designed to be a last resort, since it can drain sanity quicker than you would think.

Chaika's Coffin

A large coffin Chaika always carries around.

- Can hold items
- Can be crafted

Notes

Since you aren't able to start Don't Starve with items already equiped, I instead started Chaika with the materials required to craft it right away.
