Discovery Map Helper

描述
Helps get the Pathfinder achievement.
Repaint colors on the road map, and also removes all the icons, road numbers and company logos.

Ready for the "Iberia", "Beyond the Baltic Sea", "Italia", "Vive la France!", "Scandinavia" and the "Going East!" DLC.
  • This mod does not affect the map, it only changes the map view.
  • It should work fine with 99% of existing Euro Truck Simulator 2 modifications.
  • It should work fine even with those mods that expand the map, add new cities and roads.
  • Even if any of the mods you've added will change colors or a legend on the map, this mod will be able to cope with this, you should just increase the priority of this mod.
However
  • If any of the mods you installed adds new icons/emblems to the map view, instead of changing existing ones, then this mod can not hide them regardless of its priority.
Installation:
  • For steam game version: click "subscribe" on this page.
  • For retail game version: download the mod from this page[github.com] & move the downloaded file into your "My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod" folder.
Activation:
  • Start the game and edit the profile you want to use.
  • Check the box next to the mod file named "Discovery Map Helper" in the panel on the right hand side of the profile edit screen.
  • PROFIT! Open the world map and look for red roads. Those haven't been discovered yet.
    (You can drag the map using the right mouse button, and also scale using a mouse wheel).

  • You can freely distribute this mod with any changes without any limitations. Just point out somewhere that the 'DiscoveryMapHelper' was taken as a base.
  • Don't use please 'DiscoveryMapHelper' as name, because this name already exists for the version for ETS2 (original), as well as for ATS (adapted by Meszes).
  • I would be very grateful if you would add a link to the original page of the mod on SteamWorkshop.

Is there any way to keep the icons on the GPS? I miss them in navigation.

This mod has been very helpful to me when I got my Pathfinder achievement.

Now I have a weird request, but, could you make a similar mod that would color discovered and undiscovered roads the same color? My progress got reset, and now I have this unhelpful urge to do Pathfinder AGAIN.

Good mod, but I agree with user Norines. Some gas stations and rest areas are not displaying at the map in the Route advisor.

So this mod only colors the gray roads red if they haven't been explored yet and the yellow explored streets in gray. Impressive

@Norines indeed, and not only West Balkans, but also countries such as Germany (recently revamped zones), Austria and Switzerland...

Mod is too broken at the moment :(

Anyone know if this can be enabled while playing TruckersMP? I definitely want to use it to finish the achievement grind but likewise I only really play on TMP now.
