描述
Longer Names Version 2
This mod provides a way to enter longer first, last, and nick names for your soldiers.
By default, 30 characters, though you can change the INI to make it longer if needed.

Someone asked me to take over, since the original author has reportedly
quit supporting the original mod.

The original Longer Names mod was causing instability in the game after the
Shen DLC was released.

Configuration
In XcomLongerNamesV2.INI you can change
MAX_CHARS_OVERRIDE

Default value is 30.

It was made for the original game, but should work fine with WOTC.

sure, go ahead. just make sure you put in the description that running your mod at the same time as this mod might potentially cause issues

I was wondering if I could add your mod to mine? (I will have two. One is a pool and the other is a somewhat extensive Class mod). It will be easier for in this case just to incorporate yours into mine so I can make all the modifications at the same time as I go back and forth in my files. I would, of course, give you credit.

Does this work for weapon names? It would be nicer to have longer weapon name text boxes lol

@Sailor Pothead it works just fine with WOTC. [imgur.com] If you're modding XCOM 2 you should be using the Alternative Mod Launcher anyway.
