Shoot Weapons out of Hands - DarkRP Only

Can't you just replace the gun shot with only it's model for a few secs and then turn into a pickable one also can't you just command npcs to not pick up gun for a few secs like the how the citizen does

nevermind, doesn't even work. what a let down.

is it possible to prevent shotgun bullets from doing it?

There's already addons that do that Lol

why not just make this work with sandbox and make it require a mod that makes you manually pick up weapons or something of that nature

@Tay - I'd like to do that, but there are some complications that would make that more difficult than it sounds on the surface. In DarkRP when you drop a gun, that gun can then only be picked up by pressing your "use" key on it. In Sandbox, weapons are picked up just by touching them. This is because DarkRP replaces dropped weapon behavior with its own solution. If you shot the weapon out of someone's hands in Sandbox, they would instantly pick it back up by immediately touching it. I would have to create my own version of DarkRP's dropped weapon replacement and I'll be honest with you: I'm too lazy right now to do that.

will you make another mod of this but instead its for dark rp and sandbox mode?

soo i uninstalled this and for some reason i can still have my weapons shot out of my hand

is this going to work on regular gmod????
