Gothic. Access Violation Crash [Fixed]

Everyone been having the same problem with this 'Access Violation' message, when the game crashes.
Gothic is an old game with great potential. Its not so friendly with the newer OS, like wins 7 or higher.

I've tried many methods and solutions from other guides and forums. Somehow the game doesnt launch and play in the Steam library (Guess I'm not lucky at all). Although I've discovered my own way to enjoy the game without this 'Access Violation' nonsense.

Note: Wont be able to play Gothic through Steam, but you can keep track of your playtime and show that you're in-game.

New Edit:
Huge change to 'Lag Fix' section to 'Step 3' (I've notice Wartinald deleted or removed his whole guide)

Before We Start...
You will be playing the Classic Gothic.

If you want to play the modded one with DirectX 11 and HD Graphics.
Click on this guide instead:

Step One

You need to install the 'Player-Mod-Kit'. This is what you need for the game to work.

Which can be found here:

(Its in German, need to translate the language. Unless you know German.)

To download:
Click on 'gothic1_playerkit-1.08k.exe'
(Trust me, You wont miss it)

Step Two

Install the 'Player-Mod-Kit' to the game 'File Location'.

Should look like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Gothic\
(Wherever you installed your Steam)

Step Three

You need to install the 'FPS Patch'. This is what you need for the game to fix its FPS:

To download:
Click on 'GothicFps-108.zip'

[1] Extract GothicFPS.cpp and GothicFPS.exe to /system directory in Gothic installation folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Gothic\system
(Wherever you installed your Steam)

[2] Double click on GothicFPS.exe, search for GothicMod.exe and click open.

Step Four

Go back into your game folder. Under 'System':
===========================================================================
[1] Rename 'Gothic.exe' to 'Gothic.exe.bak'
(Don't worry, It wont go anywhere)
===========================================================================
[2] Rename 'GothicStarter.exe' to 'Gothic.exe'.
(If you launch it on Steam, It will display the 'Gothic Starter'. Never click 'Play The Game', Just minimum the box. This will keep track of your playtime and show that you're in-game)

[3] Rename 'GothicMod.exe' to 'GothicFixed.exe'.
Make a shortcut of 'GothicFixed' onto your desktop and name it 'Gothic' or 'Gothic 1'.
(This is the fixed Gothic you will play on)

Oh yes! A video for those who never played the game or wanting a better understanding. Might be funny, but does give you some tips and tricks.

This thing helped me: https://rpgrussia.com/resources/gothic-steam-fix-ot-d36.2086/

It is a single .exe with various patches and improvements (eg. it also helped with screen resolution and graphic quality). The web site is in Russian, but one just need to click the button "Скачать" (download) and choose any of the two .zip files. Then run the .exe on a clean installation of Gothic. Also, when running the .exe, make sure that Russian language pack option is unchecked.

Here is what I did and the game runs (not perfectly, but you can plan):

1. Find the Steam Folder (Program (x86))
2. Go to SteamApps
3. Go to common
4. Go to Gothic
5. Go to System
6. look for the Gothic Symbol and right klick it, propertiers
7. find the tab compatibility
8. Select the first box and choose run with Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
9. Save/Apply
10. Restart PC
11. Go to Steam run the game

if you do everything he said EXCEPT THE FPS FIX, the problem will be actually solved, and the game will launch normally, but with slow FPS.

Try this instead.
First: Download a fresh copy of the game.
