Rhino Robot

It’s small, it’s tough, Rhino Robot is totally independent! Just release it around your base and whenever you see that small light circling in the distance you will feel safe! The first Orbiting Robot is here.

This simple no-BS robot is deployed to secure the staging area for the colonization fleet before it arrives to Mars orbit. It will destroy all enemy interference, wreck satellites, act as an area denial weapon around the platinum-rich asteroids while also expanding your antenna relay network for other robots to use.

Features:
- No complicated procedures, no sensors, no need to direct it - just push the button
- Circles at around 1 km from where it’s released
- Works in partial radio silence to avoid detection
- Heavily armored and armed yet cheap to manufacture
- Constantly moving and changing direction – much better than a static sentry
- Can be deployed remotely to guard a specific area
- Might or might not contain Order 66 protocol

Behavior: Just start the designated group and the Rhino will enter radio silence, slowly picking up speed, moving in an eliptical pattern and finally orbiting the point of its release. Every 30 seconds it will report its location with the antenna, and you can use this short period of time to remotely access it. But you don’t need to do anything – the Rhino Robot has you covered!

This robot will move on its own, target enemies, act as an antenna relay and all that with just 4 thrusters and no complicated sensors or procedures, it's so easy to deploy. Warning though: Rhino will ram anything in its path, but will stay at around 200-1200 meters from where it’s released so you have a safe zone at the center of its elliptical orbit, perfect for base defense.

Advanced uses: You can remove the LCDs and swap the heavy armor for light armor if you want a cheap glass cannon. You can use a Remote Autopilot to send this robot to a distant GPS coordinate and use Action menu to start the robot upon arrival. Pretty useful for guarding a precious ore asteroid or a ship derelict you want to grind. If you need to retrieve or rearm it – you can start the Reset protocol when the Robot is not working in radio silence.
