Monty Python Voicepack v1.1

I've been quoting Monty Python movies since I was a wee lad. Nice to be able to do something constructive with all that affection, eh?


Originally I was just going to recreate the 'Holy Hand Grenade' scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Just that, and nothing more. Before I knew it, I was pulling voice cues from Life of Brian and Meaning of Life and all their best skits, and I was making another full voicepack. It's a schizophrenic mix of voices used in a single voicepack. Obviously it's not going to enhance immersion for you, if you value that sort of thing. But if you like a good laugh, and you enjoyed my Basil Fawlty vp, well, you may get an equal or greater kick out of this one.

Be warned, there is occasional bad language in both the voicepack and the movie. Due to a dearth of death sounds, I've also included Terry Gilliam's bloodcurdling screams from the organ donor scene in Meaning of LIfe. They made me cringe every time I played them and I hope they have the same effect on you :)

Super tense moment, entire squad, and therefore the fate of Earth hang by a thread. If we survive this round, we may have a chance at a glorious victory. From a rooftop, a sectoid fires at my heavy, killing him and pretty much sealing the fate of humanity. As the soldier dies, he yells "BLOODY PEASANT!". Never laughed so hard in a video game.

Does it work with WotC yet? I literally play vanilla sometimes so I can use this mod.

I had to sub as soon as I seen this voice pack. I'm not sure if you do requests or suggestions for additions but a great one (if not already included) would be the sound effect of the coconut clapping together for a movement sound effect. "Oh Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, but with it thou may blow thy enemies to tiny bits in thy mercy." The grenade sound clips have me absoultey rolling right now lol Sooo funny! Can't wait to try this out! :steamhappy::steamhappy:

i usually avoid monty python themed stuff cos the internet is full of the stuff americans know and nothing else. this is extremely good, and clearly made by more than just a casual fan.
